August 5-9, 2026
Set within the cultural energy of Singapore, and hosted by Singapore Ballet, the 2026 Pointe Shoe Summit invites us to gather in a city where tradition and innovation meet, redefining how we care for dancers.
Three immersive days that redefine how we approach dancer care and pointe work. Expect hands-on learning guided by leading experts and meaningful conversations that challenge outdated ideas and place dancer well-being at the center. You will leave with renewed perspective and practical tools to elevate the way you teach, support and guide dancers in their pointe journey. This is where change begins, together.
Held at Singapore Ballet | 9am – 5pm
Day One: Building The Foundation

Day Two: Preparing The Body For Pointe

This is about building clarity and confidence, so dancers progress onto pointe feeling prepared, supported and informed.
Day Three : All Things Pointe (Morning Session)

Held at Singapore Ballet | 2pm – 6pm
Starting pointe too early risks injury. Learn how to recognise readiness and support a safe, confident transition en pointe.
You’ll learn:
• The physical foundations even dancer needs: strength, alignment, balance and stability.
• The warning signs that a dancer isn’t quite ready yet, and the steps to take to get there.
• Why a pre-pointe full assessment matters and what it reveals.
• How to guide your dancer towards safe, injury-free
This workshop ensures families understand the physical requirements of pointe and how to prepare for them responsibly.
Receive one-on-one foot and leg assessments with the PSS team, plus pointe shoe evaluations for dancers already en pointe. A rare opportunity for personalised guidance. Limited spots, early booking recommended.
